Families with toddlers ages 18-36 months can attend Toddler Play & Learn Storytime at 9:30 AM on Thursday, November 5, 2026, in the Meeting Room at North Spokane. The program begins with picture books, songs and fingerplays, then moves into 30 minutes of playful learning. Parents and caregivers take part with their children throughout the session.

Activities introduce early ideas in math, science and literacy, along with social skills and STEAM topics: science, technology, engineering, art and math. The shared play gives adults a way to support skills children will need for kindergarten and continue exploring at home. Families can also get a library card for their child.

Library space is limited, so groups of 10 or more should call ahead. The listed Thursday sessions continue on November 12, November 19, December 3, December 10, December 17 and December 31, 2026. Spokane County Library District says its library events are intended to welcome people of all abilities.
