Moran Prairie’s meeting room will host Family Play & Learn Storytime on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 10:30 AM. The session is designed for children ages 2–5 and their families, with the first half centered on picture books, music, and fingerplays.

The program then shifts to hands-on activities connected to math, science, art, and literacy. Parents and caregivers are invited to take part alongside their children. Through that shared play, children practice early literacy, STEAM, and social abilities that support kindergarten, while adults get ideas they can continue exploring at home.

Families can also use the visit as a chance to get a library card for a child. Seating at library events is limited, so groups of 10 or more should call ahead. Spokane County Library District says its events are intended to welcome people of all abilities; accommodation requests for in-person programs should be made by email at comments@scld.org or by calling 509.893.8200 at least five business days in advance.
